ON THE SHELVES: SPARK AND THE JUNCTION OF SUNSHINE AND LUCKY

I got a chance to head to my local (Springfield, Missouri) B&N yesterday to sign stock copies of SPARK (which just released May 17th) and THE JUNCTION OF SUNSHINE AND LUCKY (which is a 2017 nominee for the Mark Twain Award).

It always feels incredible to see the hard work hit the shelves:

GIFTING (SIGNED BOOKPLATES)

For anyone who plans to give one of my books as a gift this holiday season, I'm sweetening the deal a bit:

Email your mailing address to: hollyschindlerbooks (at) gmail (dot) com, and I'll shoot you a signed bookplate to go with the gift.  (The earlier you send your address, the better chance you have of getting it in time to put it inside the book before wrapping.)

A Christmas card I drew years ago for my parents to send out.

Happy holidays!

PLAYING HURT - NEARLY ONE YEAR OLD!

It's beyond hard to believe, but it's true: this March, PLAYING HURT will be a year old! Get ready to celebrate with me by snagging yourself a copy, if you haven't already done so.

If you've been a bit reluctant to read PLAYING HURT, perhaps because you're not usually a romance reader, this vlog is for you! (Or, if you've got a reading pal who's been reluctant for the same reason, pass them the link to this post!) Thanks to some lyrical writing and heavy subplots, PLAYING HURT is, as I explain here, more than just a simple summer love story:

For those of you with e-copies: get your books signed through Kindlegraph!

And be sure to check out my latest interview with the incredible Catherine Ryan Hyde for a chance to win a PLAYING HURT swag pack!

BARNES & NOBLE & A BLUE SO DARK

Too much fun: I got a chance to stop in at my local Barnes & Noble over the weekend to sign a few copies of A BLUE SO DARK!

(And seeing the book on store shelves for the first time? Oh, yeah—total goose bump moment…)
